La Gazzetta dello Sport is the largest sports news paper in Italy, well known across the country for it's iconic pink brand. I was asked to create a series of 4 full page ads for the paper, to advertise SumUp fin-tech hardware and services. The concept needed to play on the fact that the Italian football league season was coming to an end, with so much still to play for in Serie A.
I devised a concept around the terms assist and winning team. This Recognised football vocabulary also references Sum Up products that can both assist business or come together as a team to make life easier for merchants. Below are the original English language concept variants prior to translation into Italian.
